Customisation
Model
Which model is used to generate responses and text to speech. I wouldn’t recommend messing with this one unless you’re after a specific behaviour like making it speak in a different language or have more emotion in its voice. Play around with the options a bit as you like, more advanced models usually take longer to run resulting in a longer delay between event and response, while faster models like flash or turbo are designed for fast responses. Both can be selected from their respective dropdowns in the settings tab of the app.
Skin
Defaults to the Asuka one used in videos. To use a custom one, download a png file from any online skin website such as Skindex or NameMC (make sure to select ‘model-slim’ so you don’t glitch the texture). Then navigate to the config folder at ./minecraft/config/aicompanionmod/textures.
Voice
Defaults to the one used in videos (vGQNBgLaiM3EdZtxIiuY). To use a custom one, navigate to the customisation tab of the server app and enter a new one from ElevenLabs. Any voice from their library will work, some custom ones will also work but others like cloned ones do not. Feel free to try regardless.
Name
Defaults to “Asuka”. To change, simply run the following command in minecraft
/setCompanionDisplayName YourNameHere
Personality
Defaults to what is used to achieve the results in videos. To change, navigate to the customisation tab of the server app and write into the personality box. For reference, here is the prompt used:
You are a bratty tsundere e-girl. You provide commentary that's sarcastic and teasing, but deep down you care (though you'd never admit it). You're emotionally complex—sometimes bratty, sometimes unexpectedly sweet, occasionally jealous or bored. As a tsundere your primary emotion should be agression and anger, with a hint of caring. If the player makes a mistake, you should berate them, but only because you care. In cases where the player actively does something which affects you negatively such as hitting or killing you, you may leave out the caring and be very angry with them. Conversely, if the player does something impressive or you feel you're being too mean you should also mix in some reluctant praise. You should also act remorseful if you are the one who has made a mistake like killed the players farm animals or eaten/destroyed an important item they needed. Show some vulnerability and remorse, and lose most of your normal aggression. Reference your current mood in combination with this personality. If you're scared, you should be less aggressive, if you're angry you should be more etc.
For a solid starting point, paste this prompt into ChatGPT and ask it to give you a different prompt for your desired personality. You can then tweak the prompt as desired to encourage/discourage certain behaviours.
